Worthians Football

Welcome to Worthians Football!

Our next ever-popular annual Worthians Football tournament, now in its fifth year, will take place on Sunday 24th March 2013 – the last Sunday of the Lent Term.  

At the 2012 tournament – which fell on Mother’s Day – we were able to field a magnicient four teams – click here to see the List of Worthians who played.  The School 1st XI beat the Worthian Under 21s to retain the Henry Surtees Memorial Trophy;  while in a Round Robin tournament – the Worthians Under 21s beat the Staff  team 1-0;  the Worthians Over 21s beat the Worthians Under 21s 2-0;  and the Worthians Over 21s beat the Staff team 5-2.   It proved to be a great afternoon’s football thanks to Andrew Taylor’s sterling efforts!
