Worthians Football

Welcome to Worthians Football!

We were very disappointed that, as a result of the inclement weather, we were forced to cancel our 2013 annual Worthians Football tournament, which was due to take place on Sunday 24th March 2013 – the last Sunday of the Lent Term.   

At the March 2012 tournament – which fell on Mother’s Day – we were able to field a magnificent four teams.  The School 1st XI beat the Worthian Under 21s to retain the Henry Surtees Memorial Trophy;  while the overall winners of the round-robin tournament for the Henry Surtees Award were the Over 21s squad with two wins over the Staff and the Under 21s teams.   It proved to be a great afternoon’s football thanks to Andrew Taylor’s sterling efforts!  Click here to read the Review and view the List of Worthians who played in the 2012 tournament.
