Networking Events
We hold two business networking events each year – the City Lunch and the Recent Leavers’ Networking Evening :
Worth Society City Lunch
Worth Society’s annual City Lunch is held in late February or early March – and while old friends use it as an opportunity to ‘catch up’ with one another, others find it an invaluable networking forum and a great environment in which to meet co-Worthians for the first time. Representation always comes from a wide range of year groups – usually spanning four or five decades - and with every year that passes its popularity increases.
This certainly held true for the 2012 City Lunch, where we welcomed 58 Worthians on Thursday 1st March at Vivas Bacchus, 47 Farringdon Street, Holborn, London, EC4A 4LL. Once again we found ourselves oversubscribed with 13 on a waiting list - and that in spite of finding a new venue that could accommodate close to 60 people in a private room. We were delighted to have representation from five decades – the ’60s, ’70, ’80s ’90s and ’00s and everyone enjoyed a great afternoon. Click here to see the List of Attendees.

Recent Leavers’ Networking Evening
For Worthians who are at University or who have recently left School or University, we hold an informal Recent Leavers’ Networking Evening in early September. The aim is to bring the bright minds of Worthians who are well established and work across a wide range of business areas together with the younger generation who are seeking advice and guidance.
