The Worthians Charitable Trust

The Worthians Charitable Trust (WCT) – registered charity number 1084948 – is the charitable arm of the Worth Society which was set up to fund a number of charitable activities in support of the Society, Worth School and the Abbey. This includes the WCT Global Action Awards (GAAs).  Trustees are Nicholas Barnett, Dom Mark Barrett, Robert Bodnar-Horvath, Jeremy Fletcher and Crispin Hayhoe.

Principal Objects

To further the education (including social and physical training) of prospective pupils, pupils attending and former pupils of, Worth School and to advance religious practice and education in accordance with the doctrines and principles of the Roman Catholic faith as they are practised at the School and Worth Abbey.

Principal Aims

  • Support Worth School and the Abbey in its educational and Christian mission
  • Promote, foster and encourage contact and mutual assistance between all members of Worth Society
  • Use the income and assets of the Society to further its aims.

Donations

In addition to the £25 fee paid for annual Membership to Worth Society, donations to the Charitable Trust are always very gratefully received as they are used towards the funding of such projects as our Global Action Awards Scheme.
