It is with deep sadness that we have been informed of the death, on 13th May 2019, of Leonardo Boodramsingh C’15. His funeral will take place at 12 Noon on Tuesday 11th June 2019 at Surrey & Sussex Crematorium, Balcombe Road, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 3NQ. We send our love and prayers to his brother Marco C’11 and all the family at his sad time.
 

The Weave of Manquehue Prayer are a network of friends mainly made up of former students of Benedictine Schools in the EBC. They are holding an Open Retreat for Young People at Downside on the weekend of Friday 7th to Sunday 9th June and would like to encourage Worthians to attend. Freddie Ingles F’18 will be performing a charity concert at  Worth on Saturday 8th June at 7pm in the Performing Arts Centre. Freddie is raising money for a charity in Nairobi called the Dagoretti Child Protection and Development Centre, which takes vulnerable street children out of the slums, and rehabilitates and reintegrates them, using a number of arts based programmes. Freddie will be performing music for his upcoming singing diploma, including pieces by Schubert, Vaughn Williams and Jerome Kern. He will be joined by some friends from the School playing violin, piano and harp, as well as the Worth School Gospel Choir. Freddie is not charging for tickets but is asking for donations on the evening. Click here for more information.
