Many congratulations to Mark Collini (StB’89) and his wife, Alex, on the birth of their daughter, Sofia Anna Rose, born on 28th September 2016 weighing 7lbs 12ozs.


It is with great sadness that we have been informed by Marcus Lee (G’04) of the death of his father, Julian Lee (C’64) RIP, one of our founder pupils, who passed away suddenly on Thursday 22nd September 2016.  We send Marcus and all the family our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.


Corrado di Mascio (R’96), a DC with the Met Police, came back to Worth to give an enlightening talk to students about staying safe online.  He was keen to stress the benefits of the world wide web – particularly as a resource and a learning tool – but also how important it was to be aware of the dangers that are about and what individuals should do if they sense something is not right.


Simon Crane’s (’70) debut novel, The Secret Broker, will be published by Quartet Books on 22nd September.  A captivating thriller set across Asia, North America and Europe tells the story of Luca Voss’s fight against dark forces conspiring to start a nuclear war.


Stefan Reynolds (G’89) is inviting Worthians to the launch of his new book Living with the Mind of Christ.  This will be held on Wednesday 7th September from 7pm at The Meditatio Centre, St Marks, Myddelton Square, London EC1R 1XX.


Robert Bathurst (R’75) is back on our TV screens in his role as David in ITV’s Cold Feet from Monday 5th September – top of our autumn viewing schedule!
