Anthony Ward-Thomas (B’76) is about to embark on an incredible, never been done before challenge.  He and a team-mate will pedal, row and kite 2930 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from The Canary Islands to Antigua – the same route Christopher Columbus took to discover the Americas.  This is all to raise funds for Naomi House Hospice for children and young adults.  We wish him the best of Worthian luck!  You can help him reach the target of £100,000 by donating via their website where you can also track his progress.

Worth School are currently looking for two graduates to fill term-time only, residential positions for Sept 2016 to July 2017.  Would suit young Worthian graduates who are interested in a career in teaching.  Check the school website for further information.  The closing date is Wednesday 27th January 2016.

Tom Hammond-Davies (C’03) has some lovely concerts lined up for February with his choir, The Oxford Bach Soloists, at New College Chapel, Oxford. On Sunday 7th February at 3:15pm they will perform pieces from Cantatas for Quinquagesima, and on Sunday 28th February at 3:15pm they will be performing some Motets & Cantata for Oculi.
