PJ Bickford (C’91) runs Pretzel Films who make documentaries all over the world highlighting issues of war, famine and disaster.  This year they have decided to put their Christmas Party Fund into hiring vans and buying petrol to get supplies to refugees in Syria.  They have already achieved 60% of their target, so if you would like to help them reach it  (£8 gets a pack of nappies), then visit https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/pretzelfilms  We wish them the best of luck!

 

Tom Hammond-Davies (C’03) has some wonderful concerts lined up for November conducting his Choir, The Oxford Bach Soloists, at New College Chapel, Oxford.  On Sunday 8th November at 3:15pm they will perform Cantatas 139, 163 and 52 with Brandenburg Concerto No.1, and on Sunday 22nd November at 3:15pm they will be performing Cantatas 90, 116 and 140 Wachet auf! with solo tenor Cantata 55 Ich elender Mensch.  Tickets are limited so book now via www.tom-hammonddavies.com

 

It is with great sadness that we have been informed of the death of Anthony Aris (R’64), on 14th October 2015.  We send our love and prayers to his wife, Marie-Laure, and son Roderick (C’96) and all the family.

 

Organ Scholar, Luke Navin (F’11), has just recorded his first CD of 7 original, romantic compositions for the piano, telling an intimate love story. Available on Amazon Music, iTunes, Google Play and Spotify.  Luke is currently studying Music at Keble College, Oxford.
