Many congratulations to Jonathan Smith (StB’98) on his recent engagement to Aoife Kilpatrick on the 21st October 2011.  The happy couple are planning their wedding for early 2012.

Our heartfelt congratulations to Felix Sainsbury-Martinez (C’09) who received, for the second year running, a Dean’s Commendation at Exeter University where he is studying Astro Physics, Quantum Physics and Maths.

Our congratulations to Neil Leach (G’76), who alongside Professors Behrokh Khoshnevis (Engineering), Anders Carlson (Architecture) and Madhu Thangavelu (Astronautics) from the University of Southern California (USC) have won a prestigious Nasa grant to explore the potential use of the robotic fabrication technology, Contour Crafting, for building structures on the moon. The grant, says a USC press release, “was one of only 30 awarded to over 700 applicants by the Nasa Innovation Advanced Concepts Program”.
